Is the AO Scan a medical device?
No. The AO Scanner by Solex is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and it is not a substitute for medical or mental-health care.
Do I need any hardware?
The software runs on your phone. A tuned bone-conduction transducer headset improves the harmonic delivery and is worth adding, but you can start with the app and good headphones.
Can my family use it?
Yes — you can run scans for the people in your household on your subscription, which is why most families find it pays for itself quickly.
